Tonight, Bruce grilled salmon marinated in olive oil, Old Bay, dried dill and black pepper. I made a French green lentil salad with chunks of feta and whole pickled beets, with a dressing of olive oil, salt, and the zest and juice of a lemon. I also made a Caprese salad with roma tomatoes, fresh basil leaves and marinated fresh mozzarella.
I love French green lentils - they are so beautiful! They look like little pebbles...
We have some lentil salad left over, and tomorrow I'm going to add some finely diced red onion, more beets and more feta. This is what I love about cooking. You try something, and it's good, but then you figure out how to make it BETTER!
You could put cheese on actual pebbles and I would eat them. Mmmmmmm.....cheeeese. D'oh!
ReplyDeleteNice work Tam! And yes, cheese on anything is good.
ReplyDeleteI love your food! It reminds me of the great times we had preparing and sharing...and just having great yogini bird time!
